Happy New Year! Today March 13th marks the new league year for the NFL. Today all free agents are allowed to sign and all trades are official. Many big faces have already found new places and the league continues to pay big contracts to the super stars who are hitting Free Agency.

Starting with 2 of the best Wide Receivers in the league Antonio Brown was finally granted his trade request and will be repping the Silver and Black next season with the Oakland Raiders. After being traded from the Steelers the Raiders restructured the deal with the superstar receiver and now he will be making $50.125 Million compared to $38.925 that he would've made in Pittsburgh. As well, Odell Beckham Jr. was traded by the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns. This trade shocked the entire NFL world and now the Browns are set to become playoff contenders just two years after going 0-16.

Sticking to trades, many trades went unseen while these big transitions were taking place and the biggest was DeSean Jackson being traded from the Buccaneers back to the team who originally drafted him the Eagles. And then the two Quarterback trades that sent Joe Flacco to the Broncos and Case Keenum to the Redskins. On top of those star Defensive End, Dee Ford was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the San Fransisco 49ers to add to their young Defensive Line.

Outside of the trading block Free Agency has been huge over the past couple days and with the new year starting today all the signings are becoming official right now.

All eyes this offseason were on Le'veon Bell after he was finally granted his release from the Steelers and he decided to take his talents the bright lights of New York to play for the Jets. He signed a 4 year $52.5 Million contract and will look to boost the young Jets Offense.

The other huge offensive free agent signing was the Nick Foles signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will be getting $88 Million over the next 4 years down in Jacksonville.

Heading over to the defensive side of the ball, the Free Agent Class for the Safety position was huge and had the most talent out of any position entering free agency this year. The three big names from this class were longtime Seahawk Earl Thomas, the honey badger Tyrann Mathieu, and the young and dynamic Landon Collins.

Thomas decided to sign a 4-Year $55 Million contract with the Ravens to fill the spot of their old safety Eric Weddle who went to the Rams. Mathieu found himself joining a Kansas City Chiefs team who was in desperate need of a hard-hitting safety to control their secondary. And the 25-year-old Landon Collins stayed in the division and went to the Washington Redskins and signed a 6 year $84 million deal.

Although the rest of the defensive Free Agents were not as big as those names mentioned above here are some other signings that have taken place on the defensive side of the ball:
