Last week was a rough one... my picks went 4-6 and I am very disappointed in myself but the train keeps rolling and were going to do better this weekend! Here is my 3rd set of college football picks:
Game 1: Penn State (#12) -6.5 @ Maryland Over/Under 61.5
A couple weeks back I rode Maryland and they disappointed me, and this week just like last I will be betting against someone who failed me! With that being I will be taking the Under 61.5 because Penn State has a phenomenal defense and when we saw Maryland play a decent defense they were shut down. The Nittany Lions will do the same and they will not score a lot either.
Game 2: Arizona State +4.5 @ Cal (#15)
Last week I did not believe in the Cal Bears and they went into Ole Miss and beat the Rebels after a controversial call. I bet on Colorado to beat ASU as the underdog and they did just that and I will continue to doubt Herm Edwards and the Sun Devils so we are jumping on the Cal Bears bandwagon and were going with the -4.5.
Game 3: Arkansas +23.5 @ Texas A&M (#23)
Texas A&M took another brutal loss to another highly ranked team when they lost to Auburn but speaking of brutal losses Arkansas lost to San Jose State... who SUCKS. Anyways the Razorbacks will be heading into Aggie Land and will get outright blasted by A&M and it won't even be close. To cover this it will have to be a blowout and I believe it will be.
Game 4: BYU -2.5 @ Toledo Over/Under 60.5
I may have taken an Under in my first game pick but as mentioned last week "Life is too short to bet the under," therefore I am taking the over 60.5 in the BYU vs Toledo game because these are two high flying offenses without much defense. BYU took a brutal loss and will look to score some points this week while Toledo will continue to score a load of points. Were riding the over train in this game.
Game 5: Kansas +16.0 @ TCU
I picked TCU last week and they failed me... again I am picking against a team that failed me. The Kansas Jayhawks are one the craziest and hard to read football teams this year and I think Les Miles will go into TCU and will come out with the... cover. TCU will win but not by 16 and the Jayhawks will be the move this weekend when looking for small bets.
Game 6: Northwestern +24.5 @ Wisconsin (#8) Over/Under 46.0
Wisconsin was one of my four wins last week and I am riding the Badger train till I die. Wisconsin looks amazing and they just score point left and right with different running backs. Last weekend I saw four different running backs run with crazy explosion. Honestly Wisconsin will score 46 on its own and I think they will cover the 24.5 too. They gave up their first points of the season last week and it was only 14 points in total. Im riding the Badgers with the cover and the Over.
Game 7: USC (#21) +11.0 @ Washington (#17)
Well, I ruled out the Trojans a couple weeks back after they lost to BYU and then I ruled them out against Utah and they proved me wrong. Washington on the other hand blasted BYU and looked great with Transfer Qb Jacob Eason. But for some reason I am riding with the Trojans and their THIRD string Quarterback. Yes last week I doubted them with the second string Qb but now they are onto a third QB but you know what I am feeling the Trojans go into Washington and leave with a W. Therefore they will cover +11 and even leave with a big fat W.
Game 8: Notre Dame (#10) -12.5 @ Virginia (#18)
Virginia is undefeated but with close wins over sub par opponents. All I am saying is I am 1-0 when I bet against the Cavaliers and I am 0-1 when I pick them. With that being said I am picking Notre Dame who actually looked pretty good against Georgia. The Irish played the Bulldogs close and even covered the +14.5 that I picked Georgia to win... It has been a trend in this weeks picks, and I am going to pick a team that proved me wrong to beat a team I will forever dislike unless they win me money... Notre Dame -12.5 on the road.
Game 9: Kansas State (#24) +4 @ Oklahoma State Over/Under 60
WHAT KANSAS STATE IS RANKED?!?!?!? who knew. I definitely did not but they are 3-0 and are heading into Oklahoma State to face off against the Pokes. Who knows who will win this game but what I know is the Big 12 has no defense and a lot of offense. I am going Over 60 for this pick.
Game 10: Stanford -4.0 @ Oregon State
Last time the Cardinal went into Corvallis they almost got upset. This time it would be far from an upset as both teams only have 1 win a piece. Stanford has not figured out how to win this season and I am a firm believer in the Beavers and how they are on the rise. I was almost a Beaver student and my sister graduated from there and I think this pick is only right. GO BEAVS and I am putting my money on the Beavers to not just cover but win this one outright. The turnover chainsaw will be out a lot this weekend and the Beavers will get a huge Pac 12 victory this weekend.
