College Football Bowl Picks

College Football bowl season is upon us and yes it already started but there is still lots of football to be played. This will be the last post of the season and I really did enjoy writing each and every one of these. Below will be my bowl picks, I am super excited for each of these games and super excited for the college football playoff which is on Saturday.
GAME 1: Michigan State -4.0 vs Wake Forest (Dec 27th)
When I first looked at this line I was amazed that the Spartans were favored. Sparty did play a much tougher schedule than Wake Forest but the Demon Deacons have looked like a much better team all season. I do not have too much insight into this game besides I am not a believer in the Michigan State football program and I am in the ACC.
MY PICK: WAKE FOREST +4.0
GAME 2: #25 Oklahoma State +5.5 vs Texas A&M (Dec 27th)
No Texas A&M has not beaten a single team with a winning record and yes their five losses were all to top tear teams but they are a legit team in the world of college football they just played the toughest schedule in the world. Oklahoma State has four losses and is BARELY ranked but they still have one of the best running backs in all of college football. I am a fan of A&M and I really do think they are favored for a reason and I think they will finally pull off a ranked over a team that has more wins than losses.
MY PICK: TEXAS A&M -5.5
GAME 3: #17 Memphis +7.0 vs #10 Penn State (Dec 28th)
I am a huge fan of the Nittany Lions and some would say they never cover but find a way to win and yes that may be true but Memphis is no Big 10 team and Penn State is going to roll right over Memphis and the Tigers. Memphis is down their head coach and the head of their offense in their Tight End. James Franklin and his squad will be ready to go and I just do not believe in the Memphis Tigers especially after losing Mike Norvell the old head coach.
MY PICK: WE ARE PENN STATE -7.0
GAM3 4: #4 Oklahoma +13.5 vs #1 LSU (Dec 28th)
This will be the first of the two playoff games on Saturday and yes this is apparently #1 vs #4 but these two teams could not be more lopsided. Yes 13.5 is very high and it will be an emotional ride but LSU is legit and Coach O is amazing. Heisman winner Joe Burrow is still going to be riding high after his personal victory after winning the best player of the 2019 season. Anyways Lincoln Riley has made it to the playoff multiple times and his teams have not pulled one out and they still won't this year.
MY PICK: LSU -13.5
GAME 5: Cal -6.5 @ Illinois (Dec 30th)
This game will not have many fireworks but Levi's Stadium will be rocking especially with Littyville coming to town and a bunch of players returning home to bring back Illinois to greatness. This game should be a low scoring affair with two great defenses going at it. I probably will not be watching this one but I follow trends and my personal trends point towards me picking Illinois.
MY PICK: LITTYVILE +6.5
GAME 6: #9 Florida -14.5 vs #24 Virginia (Dec 30th)
Alright this game is interesting because the only reason Virginia is in this game is because the ACC needs somebody to be in a NY6 bowl that is not in the playoff. Virginia sucks and Florida is honestly great. If they only had one loss they would easily be in the playoff and would have found their way into possibly wrecking the whole playoff. The Gators are for real and people need to understand that.
MY PICK: CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP -14.5
GAME 7: Florida State +4.0 vs Arizona State (Dec 31st)
Welp, Florida State has been an outright disappointment and some how some way they found themselves in a bowl. Herm Edwards will use this game as a way to make a statement against a big program even though it is in a down year. ASU has a true freshman QB at the helm and this game will just be a springboard into the 2020 year. The forks will be out in this one and the real reason FSU has little to no shot is cause their entire offense is the Seminole RB Cam Akers, and he will not be playing this game.
MY PICK: FEAR THE FORK -4.0
GAME 8: #16 Minnesota +7.0 vs #12 Auburn (Jan 1st)
This game is interesting since both these teams have huge wins but huge losses and they just get to face each other in a bowl that does not meet much. Auburn in my mind is real while Minnesota's boat is not quite rowing anymore. Auburn is still feeling that Iron Bowl win while the Gophers are still feeling a brutal loss to the Badgers of Wisconsin.
MY PICK: WAR EAGLE -7.0
GAME 9: #14 Michigan +7.0 vs #13 Alabama (Jan 1st)
Wait Alabama is not in the playoff? They are not in a NY6 bowl? That is crazy. They will be facing off with Michigan in the VRBO Citrus Bowl and to be honest Nick Saban does not care. But for Michigan and Coach Harbaugh this could be an awesome win for them but they are not going to win. No Tua is not playing and none of the bama players seem to care but they are just so much better than the Wolverines and it will shoe on the 1st.
MY PICK: BAMA -7.0
GAME 10: #6 Oregon +3.0 vs #8 Wisconsin (Jan 1)
The Grandaddy of the all will be another rematch from a couple years ago. Oregon is legit but the one slip up against ASU kept them out of the playoff but like most teams who do not care about bowl games the Ducks are different and they want this one to show their growth. The Ducks are a team to watch out for in the future and that is sad for someone like myself who prefers the other team in Oregon but the Ducks are here to stay... for now. On the other side Wisconsin had a magic start but anytime they faced a lethal offense the defense stumbled and I believe that will happen on New Years day.
MY PICK: QUACK QUACK QUACK +3.0
This season has been great and I am sad to see it go but I love college football so much and it was great to live and breath it once again. With it coming to an end I will be starting a new journey at Clemson and I am super excited for that but on top of that next football season will be crazy because I will get to live it.
