This year has been a mess and I am truly at a loss for words on what is going on. They sit at 6-5 entering week 13 and they are coming off as brutal of a loss as possible when they lost to the Ravens 45-6. A couple weeks ago, maybe even just a couple days ago I would have told you the Rams only problem was their QB Jared Goff who has been awful but their defense was just exposed in ways they have never been before. Entering Monday Night they had statistically been the best defense in November but they gave up double what they had given up all month on Monday Night. I get it Lamar Jackson is the MVP and not many teams have had an answer to stopping him, but 45 points in unacceptable. One of the best weeks of college football every year with all the emotion and all the battles that go down in history. This set of picks comes a day later and on the great holiday of Thanksgiving and one of the things I am very thankful for is football. Last week was another great week of betting for myself and I went 7-2-1 in the picks last week. Oklahoma State won by 7 and their line was 7 so that was my push, then Fresno State blew their 14 point lead, and lastly in the Hawaii vs SDSU game it was 14-10 and the O/U was 49 so that sucked. Just a great weekend of football leading into a week where there is one big game and besides that it will be a slow week leading into an action packed rivalry week in week 14. But we're in week 13 and we are ready to go. Looking back at week 12 I went 7-3 and my losses came from Minnesota who was an extra point away from pushing but they shanked it when looking to come back in their upset loss to Iowa, Oklahoma came back from down 28-3 and won but they did not cover the -10.0 spread and lastly UCLA got ran by Utah and failed me there. This weekend was much better than last weekend for my personal bets but we enjoy sitting at 6-4 again after these top 10 picks. My four losses were tough, Oregon State blew their cover after making a late comeback, Penn State was dismantled by Minnesota and their high powered offense, West Virginia was an awful underdog to pick where they got blown out at home, and lastly my under between Wisconsin and Iowa was hitting and was looking great until the fourth quarter and both teams decided to score some points. Clemson started off hot but could not hold the cover, Appalachian State failed me and did not just not cover but they lost, a bet on Virginia actually hit but sadly I did not bet on them and I never will, and then in the big game Georgia went for 2 which helped them cover by .5 and I picked Florida.
